About the course instructor:

Tressa Pedroff, PhD, RN, CNE

Tressa has over 35 years of clinical and teaching experience in the care of adults and older adults in trauma and critical care settings. Her clinical expertise includes the acute care of stroke and cardiac patients, with a focus on recognizing clinical deterioration, managing complex patient needs, and applying evidence-based interventions. Her academic interests include preparing nursing students to provide safe, effective care to medically complex adult and older adult populations. Additional areas of interest include palliative and end-of-life care, culturally responsive geriatric care, clinical reasoning, and innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning. In this review course, Tressa will provide a thorough review of the stroke content to prepare students for the SCRN exam.
