Tressa Pedroff has over 35 years of clinical experience in the care of adults and older adults in the trauma/critical care setting. Areas of academic interest center on helping students to understand the specific needs of adult/older populations in the acute care setting. Additionally, she specializes in care of culturally diverse geriatrics in the community, including palliative and end-of-life care treatment options. Her research interests focus on palliative care, international travel abroad and the implementation of effective teaching strategies to improve student learning of difficult nursing concepts and clinical reasoning.
