Kate Colvin is an expert clinician and educator in obstetric nursing, antepartum nursing, and electronic fetal monitoring dedicated to preparing nurses to sit for obstetric nursing subspecialty certification exams including: RNC-OB, RNC-IAP, and C-EFM. She has nearly twenty years of experience as an OB staff nurse, clinical nurse educator, and nursing faculty member. She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Inpatient Antepartum nursing, and is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Kate is active in the Association for Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), and is an instructor for the AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course. Kate’s passion for OB nursing, especially fetal monitoring, translates in this course and the way she prepares participants to challenge and pass the C-EFM Exam.
