The RNC-OB review course provides a comprehensive and up-to- date review of inpatient obstetric nursing based on the inpatient obstetric nursing exam content outline. Participants receive information that will not only promote certification exam success, but will also enhance clinical nursing practice.
Kate Colvin is an expert clinician and educator in obstetric nursing and electronic fetal monitoring dedicated to preparing nurses to sit for obstetric nursing subspecialty certification exams including: RNC-OB and C-EFM. She has fifteen years of experience as an OB staff nurse and clinical nurse educator for BSN nursing students. She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. Kate is active in the Association for Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), and is an instructor for the AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course. Kate’s passion for OB nursing translates in this course and the way she prepares participants to challenge and pass the RNC-OB Exam.
