About the instructor:
Dr. Louise Jakubik, PhD, RN-BC, CSP
Dr. Louise Jakubik is a mentoring thought leader and workforce development expert. She is a master mentor who believes that developing others is one of the most critical roles of a leader. She is a leading research scientist on mentoring in nursing with a research agenda spanning 10 years exploring mentoring practices and benefits for nurses and their workplaces. As a workforce development consultant, Dr. Jakubik assists organizational leaders to embed systems, structures, and values that promote career development and build mentoring cultures in nursing. Dr. Jakubik is the recipient of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) Nurse Executive Mentor Award 2016, which recognizes a nurse in executive practice who has been exemplary in supporting the professional development of his or her colleagues by serving as a mentor or advisor.
